What happened

We compared a construction company's old WordPress site with a new site built from scratch in Claude Code. The new site exposes 91 pages to Google instead of 19, and 56 of them target the specific towns where the company has completed jobs.

The old site only tells Google it is a generic organization. The new one describes a local construction business, with its address, its services, and nine answers to questions real customers ask.

Why it matters

For a local business, people search by service and town. A dedicated page per town, a clear local-business profile and described images are the basics that help Google understand who you are and where you work.

To be clear, these are on-page SEO signals, not ranking or traffic results. WordPress can do all of this too. In this case the old site simply didn't, and the rebuild did.
